Dryshield Water Solutions Corp.
specializes in installing exterior
drainage systems designed to
completely address foundation
seepage issues. Our method involves
excavating the soil surrounding the
walls being treated and exposing the
top and side of the footings. Keep
in mind that anything along the
walls being treated will need to be
removed. On inspection cracks and
structural deficiencies are repaired
if required.
The wall(s)
and footings are then coated
with our waterproof sealant
(rubberized urethane)
applied by hand or trowel
and sheathed with Delta MS
waterproof dimple membrane. |

Old weeping tiles are
disposed of and replaced, then
covered with 12” of clean 3/4" clear
gravel and a geo-membrane. The walls
are then backfilled to grade.
For maximum
drainage we recommend the
new weeping tiles are
connected to a sump pump so
that excess water can be
gathered below the floor
level and effectively
discharged away from the
building ensuring maximum
drainage for perimeter walls
and floor. Moisture or water
issues in your basement will
significantly devalue your
home. Realtors advise
clients to rectify the
problem before putting the
home on the market or add a
conditional clause in the
contract to lower the asking
price of the home.
Waterproofing
will strengthen the
structural integrity of the
foundation walls by
alleviating the hydrostatic
pressure created by the
abutting water. For more
