The internal system is best suited in certain cases for 3 specific reasons:

Our method involves breaking a thin trench in the floor slab abutting the perimeter walls to reveal the upper face and side of the footings (approx 8 to 14 inches). Excess materials are removed, new gravel is laid down and an internal French drain is placed along the side of the footings at a slight grade. A waterproof wall conduit is then fastened to the wall extending from the footing to the ceiling or customer's preferred height. The wall conduit provides a waterproof seal that captures water and moist air from the wall surface and delivers it directly to the drainage system. New concrete is then poured in the trench creating a watertight seal between the floor and wall.
