We specialize in installing Window wells with superior drainage. When installing a new window well it is important to make sure that the water entering the well has a clear path for proper drainage. Our solution begins with excavating from the window down to the side of the footing.
Once at the footing we will locate the weeping tile and test to make sure there is proper drainage (new weeping tile is installed if necessary). After confirming drainage we then install the new window well connecting the well drain down to the weeping tile. The window well is fastened to the wall with concrete screws and the drain pipe will sit 4" below the height of the window sill.
The excavation is backfilled and compacted to provide minimal settling. Upon proper installation a geo-textile fabric is placed at bottom of window well over drainage pipe. Once lined the well is then filled with gravel to the window sill providing necessary drainage.
