Dryshield® Water Solutions Corp. specializes in installing interior waterproofing drainage systems designed to completely address foundation seepage issues.
Watch how DryShield® Completes a Basement Waterproofing Project:
The Interior system is best suited when:
- The external approach is not feasible because of confined space or accessibility.
- Hydrostatic Pressure is forcing the water under the footing and into the home.
- Cost effective when interior walls and floors are completely exposed or basement is unfinished.
How it works
Our goal is to remove existing moisture, install waterproof barriers from the inside, and build a series of weeping tiles and drains that divert accumulated water.
To access the footings, we remove a layer of concrete from the basement floor and make a trench along the foundation. Gravel is laid in the trench along with internal weeping tiles that improve drainage and send water to a nearby sump pump.
Then, a damp-proof wallboard is fastened to the foundation to provide a watertight seal that wicks moisture from the wall and the air while directing condensation into the new drainage system.
Finally, concrete is poured over the trench to create a final waterproof layer. After we’re done, you can start enjoying your new basement!
Stay dry for 25 years, guaranteed!
This waterproofing system minimizes hydrostatic pressure and ensures that water stays in drains below the footing, which helps the floor and walls stay dry. As an added benefit, our services come with a 25-year transferable warranty that covers your home even if you decide to sell.
